Workshops at Callaway Gardens are fun and informative. With a wide variety of topics, you're sure to find some that appeal to you. Workshops are held in an informal and relaxed atmosphere. Try one and you're bound to return for more!

To preregister, call 706-663-5153 or email education@callawaygardens.org PhotoShop Boot Camp: An Introduction to Adobe PhotoShop Elements 7 or 8 or CS4 Saturday & Sunday, February 27 - 28, 2010 9:30 am - 4:00 pm on Saturday 9:30 am - 1:00 pm on Sunday This entry-level course is designed to get participants started on the right foot with Adobe PhotoShop. Participants are given a disk containing the images that will be used throughout the course. Following step-by-step instructions, everyone is encouraged to work along with the instructor as we turn our digital images into masterpieces! Cropping, straightening, color correction, exposure correction, sharpening, cloning, the healing brush, working with layers, layer masks, working with text, and even working with the RAW file format - all are covered in this fun-filled workshop. Since the syllabus contains step-by-step instructions on everything that we do in the workshop, minimal note taking is required! Participants are encouraged to have a working version of PhotoShop Elements 7 or 8 or CS4 loaded on their laptops. An external mouse is highly recommended, since laptop pointing devise are usually not adequate for our work in PhotoShop. This Boot Camp is limited to 20 participants and laptops are welcome.
