To preregister, call 706-663-5153 or email education@callawaygardens.org Recycled Garden Art Workshop Saturday, May 10, 2008 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. “I took the pieces you threw away .Washed by rain, dried by sun: A million pieces all in one.” – Howard Finster. Create your own “Paradise Garden” art piece from reusable materials in the style of Southern folk artist, Howard Finster. Participants will have a choice of making a flower pot or stepping stone using the pique-assiette mosaic method. All necessary materials are provided; participants are encouraged to bring their own treasures - pieces of broken dishes, tiles, marbles, pebbles, and any other small mementos to incorporate into the project.
