SalesCatering Manager FT Five years sales experience in a resort setting with diverse venues.  Requires extensive knowledge of F&B.  Develops new markets and builds on existing client base.  Represents resort by conducting presentations and conferences with external groups.  Promotes facilities and services by meeting customers, conducting property tours, participates in trade shows, industry and community events.  Requires negotiation skills and  computer skills.  Delphi knowledge helpful.  Ability to work weekends/holidays.  Valid driver's license required.

EducationIntern-HorticultureTempInvolved in the practical, day-to-day maintenance of the Gardens.  Work in Hort. displays, trails, production greenhouses, conservatories, including the Day Butterfly Center (entomology and horticulture) and vegetable garden.  Requires manual labor and equipment operation plus hands-on with native and exotic plants, cultural tech.  Interaction with the public.  A college junior level standing is recommended for those majoring in landscape design, horticulture, entomology, botany, forestry, and related areas.  Dates for position are late May - early August.
EducationIntern-EducationTempConduct and assist with educational programs in home horticulture and natural history.  Topics to include recycling, birds or reptiles, as well as topiaries, container gardening and design.  Presentations include guided walks, hikes, demonstrations, and workshops.  Requires excellent speaking and writing ability.  Must posses enthusiasm, flexibility, and a love of the outdoors.  A college junior level standing is recommended for those majoring in horticulture, education, natural history, forestry, botany, entomology and ecology.  Dates for position are late May - early August.
