Most birds in Callaway's Birds of Prey program are birds that are unable to survive on their own in the wild. Many have been rehabilitated from injury while others were taken by well-meaning "rescuers" who found them and prevented them from fully developing their instincts and skills needed for survival.


All the birds in our educational programs are held and handled under special permits issued by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Georgia Department of Natural Resources.

 

Three to five birds appear in each Birds of Prey show. There are approximately a dozen birds in the program, so no two shows are exactly alike. When you see a show, you may be amazed and entertained by:
