You wouldn't expect a white sand beach in the middle of Georgia but that's exactly what you'll find at Robin Lake Beach in Callaway Gardens. This is the world's largest manmade, white sand beach–it stretches a mile around 65-acre Robin Lake. The Beach is the hub of Summer activity at the Gardens and the center stage for our popular Summer Adventure program. Robin Lake Beach is open daily from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day Weekend and the Sky High Hot Air Balloon Festival. Please remember to stay hydrated and use sunscreen.

Beach Activities for Additional Fees
Aqua Island: Our floating playground offers a slippery collection of obstacles that guarantee spills and chills for guests of all ages. $10 per person, per session (approximately 45 minutes). Purchase tickets at Square 1 Activity Center. Children ages 2-6 must be accompanied by an adult. No children younger than 2.
Blaster Boats: These electric vessels let you take friendly aim with mounted waterguns that spray up to 50 feet. $10 per person, per half-hour. Purchase tickets at Square 1 Activity Center. Must be at least 54" tall.
Light Striker Laser Tag: Square off with family, friends and friends-in-the-making in a wooded setting where natural elements provide a maze full of obstacles and hiding places. $10 per person, per session (approximately 30 minutes). Purchase tickets at Square 1 Activity Center. Must be at least 10 years old.
Water-skiing, Wakeboarding and Tubing: Ski the waters of Robin Lake, home to the world’s premier competitive water-ski event – the Masters Water Ski & Wakeboard Tournament. Ski on your own or let our expert instructors teach you. Either way, you will be towed behind the a Nautique ski boat, the best in the industry. Reservations required - call 1.800.CALLAWAY (225.5292). Open May 28-August 4, 2012. Hours of Operation: Monday-Friday: 3 p.m.-7:30 p.m.; Saturday-Sunday: 9 a.m.-7 p.m.
- Water-ski Lessons: $65 per ½ hour per boat; $130 per hour per boat
- Water-ski Time: $65 per ½ hour per boat; $130 per hour per boat
- Wakeboard time: $65 per ½ hour per boat; $130 per hour per boat
- Tubing: $65 per ½ hour per boat; $130 per hour per boat
Flying Trapeze: Ever dreamed of joining the circus? Here's your chance to experience the thrill as performers from the FSU Flying High Circus send you soaring on their outdoor trapeze. Rates are as follows:
- One-hour lessons: $70 per person, $100 for two people, $35 per person for groups of three to six
- Three swings: $25 per person
- One swing: $10 per person
Beach Chair, Umbrella and Cabana Rentals
Beach chairs, umbrellas and cabanas rentals are available through Square 1 Activity Center at the following rates:
- Two beach chairs, two towels and one umbrella: $15 for three hours or $25 per day.
- Private cabana with ceiling fan, two lounge chairs and two deluxe towels: $25 for three hours or $45 per day.
Beach Pavilion
Enjoy chicken tenders, hot dogs, hamburgers, an array of salads, novelty ice creams and candies, and more. Plus, the Beach Pavilion is configured for free WiFi access!
Rockin' Robin's Malt Shop & Pizzeria
Hearken back to the 1950s with an old-fashioned juke box, arcade games and a menu including pizza, malts, malted milkshakes, hand-dipped ice cream, hot sandwiches and soda. A short walk or drive from Robin Lake Beach.
The Sand Bucket

Pet Policy
Pets are not allowed inside any Callaway Gardens facility except for a limited number of pet-designated guest rooms in the Mountain Creek Inn. Pets are allowed in outdoor areas except within Robin Lake Circle, which includes the Robin Lake Beach and picnic areas. Service dogs are permitted in all locations.
