Environmental Education Programs

Discover the wonders of the natural world with us!  The beautiful and diverse landscape of Callaway Gardens creates an extensive greenbelt along the northern slope of the Pine Mountain Ridge in Pine Mountain, Georgia.  This area provides an excellent setting for a lovely garden and dynamic educational programs!

The Callaway Gardens Education Department is ready to help you plan Education Programs (field trips) for scout groups, school associations and day care facilities.  A Program Application must be received the the Education Department in order to schedule dates.  Groups scheduled through the Education Department will be given priority over all non-scheduled groups in all facilities and guided programs.

Student groups visiting Callaway Gardens will be charged an Education Fee of $4.50 per student (regardless of age) and $8.50 per teacher or adult.  Guided programs carry an additional fee.
