I. Gardening
Herbal Delights

Taste, touch, and smell the fragrance of fresh herbs. Then look and listen as an Interpretive Horticulturist explains how to make herbal vinegar and a variety of herbal spreads. Recipes and taste samples will be provided.

Gardening for Butterflies

Learn how to lure these colorful insects into your yard and garden. Discover the plants butterflies prefer as well as gardening techniques to make your garden a butterfly haven.

Garden Tools and Tips

Designed for beginners and green thumbs, this lively discussion and demonstration includes tips on growing and grooming. See how using many essential, as well as “nice-to have,” gardening implements can make gardening tasks easier.

II. WALKS/TOURS
Participants should dress for the outdoors, including comfortable walking shoes. Programs will be canceled if weather is severely inclement.
Vegetable Garden Venture
$150 up to 20 people; $200 21 to 50 people
There’s more to Mr. Cason’s Vegetable Garden than just vegetables! Join our horticulturist guide as you view the fascinating array of flowers, herbs, vegetables, and agronomic crops.

Seasonal Interest Walk
(Suitable for children ages 10 yrs. and up)
$150 up to 20 people; $200 21 to 50 people
Enjoy the changing seasons and delight your senses with a stroll down one of Callaway Gardens’ trails. Education Department staff will introduce you to areas of seasonal interest in the Gardens.
Set-up needs: N/A
Program type, length, and limitations: ¾ – 1 mile, moderately easy trail walk, with uneven, natural surface; 1 – 1½ hrs.; minimum 6 people; maximum 30. Group must provide transportation to trail. Children under 16 years must be accompanied by adult. Program is canceled if weather is severely inclement.

Behind the Scenes - Production Greenhouse Tour
$150.00 up to 20 people; $200.00 for 21 to 50 people
A tour through the production greenhouses gives you an insider's view of just where and how the plants are produced here at Callaway Gardens. You'll get a preview of the seasonal displays to come and learn how our staff horticulturists provide colorful plants year-round. Learn how cascades mums and topiary are created. III. Birds Of Prey
Raptor Meet & Greet
$200 for any group size
This program is perfect for coffee breaks, lunch and evening cocktails. In a casual setting, get "up close and personal" with one of Callaway Gardens' resident raptors and learn about the unique adaptations that set them apart from other birds.

Group Hawk Walk
$200 up to 15 people
This program is perfect for the nature lovers who wish for something more than a simple walk in the woods. Join one of Callaway Gardens' raptors for a jaunt through nature. Learn more about raptors and get a chance to see them up close in their natural environment. Cameras are welcome.

Birds of Prey "Insight" Program
$300 up to 100 people
Join our experts as they introduce you to the world of raptors. Discover the majesty of these owls, hawks, and other species. Like our outdoor programs, our Insight shows feature live birds in flight and "on the glove," only in a climate controlled environment.

Private Birds of Prey Flighted Program
$400 up to 300 people
This program demonstrates natural behaviors and adaptations of birds of prey using live, free-flying raptors such as hawks, falcons, owls, and even vultures. Learn about the unique role raptors play in the environment and what you can do to ensure their survival.
