About Plein Air | Plein Air Overnight Package | Quick Draw | Juried Artist | Plein Air Workshop | 2011 Artwork
Celebrate the arts this spring at Callaway Garden’s Plein Air (open air) Paint Out, Art Show and Sale! From April 15-22, juried Plein Air Artists from across the country will be found within the Gardens capturing the beauty of our surroundings on canvas. These skilled artists painting “in the open air” take advantage of natural light as it impacts landscapes. The Paint Out culminates Friday night with an exclusive art show and sale at Callaway’s Discovery Center, where the competition winners are chosen and announced. On Saturday morning in Pine Mountain the artists continue with the always-exciting Quick Draw event, in which they paint in town for two hours, then display and sell their art.
