Bicycle Rental

Exploring the Gardens by bicycle is a great way to visit our many attractions; enjoy nature and get some exercise. Bicycle rentals are available daily at the Virginia Hand Callaway Discovery Center.

Upon renting bicycle, guests are charged a deposit for hourly and daily rentals per bicycle. There are no deposits on overnight or weekly rentals. Upon return of the bicycles, the rental fee is deducted from the deposit if there is a balance.

Locks and helmets are provided with bicycle rental. Helmets are required for all riders age 16 and younger per Georgia law. There is a fully refundable deposit of $5 per helmet.

Fall and Winter: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Someone in your party should carry a charged cell phone.

Take note of the number to call in the event help is needed.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES

Pick up or delivery fee: $5 per bicycle
Helmet deposit: $5 per helmet, fully-refundable upon return of helmet. Additional helmets can be borrowed with a $5 deposit per helmet.
Missing locks: $8

OTHER THINGS TO KNOW

For a safe experience, we recommend that you wear shoes that will stay on your feet. Many accidents are caused by wearing flip flops and other loose-fitting footwear or apparel.
Guests must be at least 18 years old to rent a bicycle.
Rental fee is deducted from deposit upon return of bicycle.
A 7% tax is charged on all rentals.
Credit card, room charge or master billing required for overnight and weekly bicycle rentals.
Locks are included in rental fee.
Bicycle helmets are required by Georgia law for all riders under the age of 16.
A limited selection of bicycle parts and accessories are available for purchase.
Personal baskets are not permitted on bicycles.
Guests are not permitted to alter, modify or add personal attachments to bicycles in rental fleet.
Pets are not permitted in child carriers, baskets or burleys.
