In the heart of The Gardens at Callaway is 175-acre Mountain Creek Lake, described by one of our guests as "the crown jewel of the gardens."  To manage this lake and prevent over-population, we encourage guests to keep the fish they catch from Mountain Creek Lake that fall within the limit.  Fishing for both bass and bream is excellent on Mountain Creek Lake.

Fishing is available by renting a boat at the Mountain Creek Boathouse (next to the Gardens Restaurant) where fishing boats, canoes, fishing poles and tackle are available for rent.  Our fishing boats are 14' aluminum jon boats with electric trolling motors and swivel seats.

No bank fishing is allowed.  Other than rental price, no other fishing fees are required.  We request that you reserve your boat(s) at least 24 hours in advance to assure availability.
