The Mountain Creek Inn is undergoing a complete renovation, with 274 brand new rooms slated for completion during Spring 2013. The renovation includes new sheetrock walls, new carpet, remodeled bathrooms, refurbished furniture that adheres to Callaway Gardens’ mission of environmental stewardship, and for every room, either two queen beds or a king bed. In addition, the Inn’s Plant Room Restaurant, ballrooms and pool also are being renovated. Guests should check with the Front Desk for alternate Plant Room breakfast buffet and weekend dinner buffet locations. Front Desk staff also will direct guests to an alternate swimming facility. The historic Mountain Creek Inn was the largest hotel between Chattanooga, Tenn., and Tallahassee, Fla., on the main route between those two cities, U.S. Highway 27, when it opened in 1956. Now, said Chairman and CEO Edward Callaway, “we are excited to offer the next generation of guests these opportunities for wonderful new memories and experiences with overnight stays at the Mountain Creek Inn. We would love to reacquaint you with the Callaway Gardens experience. We hope to see your family or your group in 2013.” |
