National Golf Month: Time to Perfect Your Game!

Golf isn’t just a sport. For many enthusiasts, it’s a lifelong passion. But that doesn’t mean it’s always easy to get a chance to visit the range. National Golf Month is a great time to enjoy a few more hours on the green and dive into the game that you love. There’s no better place for that than Callaway Resort & Gardens, where you can wake up next to two fantastic golf courses and spend the rest of your vacation getting pampered at the spa. Whether you’re looking for fun and sun or simply to sharpen your skills, you’ll have everything you need at one convenient location.

Mountain View

Are you competitive? The Mountain View PGA Golf Course is the 12-time host of the Buick Challenge. If you want to see how the pros play and develop your edge, this is the course for you. It can be enjoyed by anyone, but for players that want to get as close as possible to the professional experience, you’ll be hard-pressed to find any location better suited to your needs.

Originally designed by Dick Wilson, the famed architect of Chicago’s Cog Hill No. 4, it’s a genuine marvel to behold. This par 72 features tight fairways and tall pines, and was named by Golf Digest as a “Places to Play” 4-star winner. If you’ve been wanting to tackle a PGA golf course that has seen its share of champions, you’ll be walking in the steps of winners such as Jonathan Byrd, David Duval, and Steve Elkington.

Lake View

A professional challenge isn’t for everyone. Sometimes, you just want to hit a few holes and have a fantastic day outdoors. If you prefer a more relaxed approach to your golfing, the Lake View Course is for you. According to Cason Callaway, whenever a golfer lifts his or her head to take a shot, there should be something beautiful to see. When J.B. McGovern designed the Lake View Course, he clearly took that idea to heart. With five holes along the gorgeous Mountain Creek Lake, you won’t be starved for beauty. There’s plenty of water and natural scenery to captivate you while you make your way across this par 70 course.

Twin Oaks

Not everyone is as well-practiced as they would like to be. If it’s been a while since you’ve been able to schedule a tee time, you’ll appreciate the chance to work the kinks out at the Twin Oaks Practice Facility. This 26-acre complex delivers everything you need to get your golf game back in shape or further hone your already impressive ability. You’ll get to exercise every club in your bag. The expansive putting green is not to be missed, and you’re always welcome to partake in either individual or group lessons.

There are a number of Atlanta golf courses, but few can compare to what you’ll find at Callaway Resort & Gardens. If you’ve been looking for every golfer’s dream getaway, be sure to call today. Whether you prefer to stay at the cottages or villas, you’re sure to wake up refreshed and eager to indulge in an experience that few golf enthusiasts will ever be able to enjoy. Don’t let another National Golf Month go by without making the most of it at Callaway Resort & Gardens!
