Georgia’s Wildlife
We will discuss the importance of Georgia’s wildlife and learn about the importance of food, water, and cover for our native fauna. You will even get a chance to meet our education mammal and reptile at the end of the program!

What’s the Buzz? Honey Bees At Work
Did you know that pollinators like the honey bee help to pollinate our food? Students will learn about honey bees, beekeeping, and even get to make a bee bath.

Dig In! Vegetable Gardening
We will talk about how to grow veggies and herbs in your own back yard. Students will have the opportunity to plant vegetables at the Pioneer Log Cabin and get to take their own veggie plant home.

Bug Out: The Wonderful World of Insects
We will discuss how important insects are to our world. Students will have the opportunity to walk through the Megabug! Exhibit and meet some of our educational arthropod ambassadors!
