Owl Weekend

May 25 @ 9:00 am - 6:00 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

One event on May 26, 2019 at 9:00am

Crepuscular describes any creature that is active during dawn and dusk.  Callaway’s Owl Weekend brings together two of our most famous attractions, the Cecil B. Day Butterfly Center and the Callaway Birds of Prey, to celebrate our very own crepuscular creatures: owls and owl butterflies.

The celebration lasts all weekend!  The tropical butterfly conservatory will be packed with 400% more owl butterflies!  And outside, owls are taking full advantage of the warm weather, fledging from nests, and foraging throughout Callaway’s riparian Garden.  Festivities include owl and owl butterfly themed arts & crafts, educational opportunities, and story time with Cedar the Great Horned Owl – to name a few.

So, come out and celebrate the incredible crepuscular owls and owl butterflies at Callaway Gardens! Children 12 & under dressed as a butterfly, caterpillar, or owl receive 50% OFF ADMISSION to Callaway Gardens!
