Inspired by those before us, the mission of the non-profit 501(c)3 Ida Cason Callaway Foundation is to connect people and nature in a way that benefits both. Using no state or federal funding, the Foundation is committed to bringing joy and light to people’s lives through:
Enrichment - We preserve Callaway Gardens for future generations by creating an understanding of the natural world today through exhibits, demonstrations, workshops, internships, lectures, field trips, special events, and in-school workshops.
Recreation - We encourage an appreciation for Georgia’s natural world by fostering discovery and play in the great outdoors.
Conservation - By protecting Callaway Gardens’ historic woodlands and wildlife, we assure generations to come encounter the same wonder as generations before them.
